This paper discusses the effect of at-home situation on outbreak possibility of fire after an earthquake. In the existing estimation methods of outbreak possibility of fire after an earthquake, representative is the one by Tokyo Fire Department, it is assumed that a member of the family at least is at home. At-home situation is an important factor from initial fire fighting point of view in order to reduce damage by fire after an earthquake. In this paper, a new estimation method is developed including at-home situation based on the model by Tokyo Fire Department, and some estimation of outbreak possibility of fire after an earthquake are executed on single student household through a questionnaire to students of University of Tsukuba.
