In this study, we estimated monetary value of disaster tourism in Otsuchi town, one of the worst affected municipalities by 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Eastern Japan. Our result by ZTCM shows that the monetary value of Otsuchi town was about 1.18 billion yen (10.7 million USD), which is as much as other major sightseeing place ij Japan. We also estimated present value of the tourism for 30 years from 2017, and found it from 0.73 to 0.79 billion yen (8.7 million USD). This result implies that the city being hit by a major disaster has a certain value as a tourist destination.
