Consumer Safety Education for Consumer Products

Abstract

The questionnaire survey for university students was analyzed and compared with the contents of the textbooks from the consumer product safety point of view. A few proposals are made in this study such as water heater, warning labels, recall examples and reading consumer product manuals should be appeared in textbooks. It is also suggested that the students should actively use the labels through making manuals for consumer products by themselves in a class.
