The effect of additiveions on the morphology andthc growth rate of hen egg lysozyme crystal has been measured In addition of ions, the crystal morphology scarcely changed but the crystl growth rate was inhibited This effect may be attributed to the attachment of additive ions to the function group of lysczym.
