Abstract
Spirai growth mechanism of hydroxyapatite has not been established yet by direct evidences. It is possible that the spiral dislocation is introduced along the c direction by the stacking fault of Ca9(PO4)6 clusters even when hydroxyapatite dose not grow by the spirai growth mechanism.
