抄録
Oxidation process of Tin particles with the size of nanometer order produced by vacuum deposition on an amorphous carbon film was observed without an exposure to air by using a special shutter holder attached a transmission electron microscope. Structure of the surface oxide layers varied depending on the size of particles. Size dependence on oxide layer formation was discussed as the difference of thermal transportation ratio to the carbon substrate.
