Abstract
This paper adopts the physical factor (lighting apparatus, curtain, furniture and carpet) which the resident is able to fit up at will, and investigates how far these physical factor influences to the room-atmosphere by using a miniature room. As the result of factor analysis, three dimensions, gorgeousness, evaluation and activity, are extracted, and are related mutually to some extent. Curtain has influence upon each factor, and the volume of furniture has more influence upon the room-atmosphere than the arrangement. The degree of effect each factor exerts on each SD scale and dimension is similar in main effects and two-way interactions of the physical factor. These physical factor are related with the space valuation.
