Abstract
The purpose of this study was to clarify the status and issues of how school counselors (SCs) practice advocacy by reevaluating their activities from the perspective of advocacy, and by organizing the differences according to years of experience. We interviewed 10 SCs according to the six-domain model, and attempted to categorize the obtained data according to the six-domain model categories:【Client Empowerment】【Client Advocacy】【Community Collaboration】【Systems Advocacy】【Collective Action】and 【Social/Political Advocacy】．In addition to these, two categories of 【Inhibiting Factors】 and 【Promoting Factors】 were obtained, resulting in a total of eight categories. While the SC expertise demonstrated at the micro level is fully applicable at the meso level, efforts at the macro level are insufficient, and differences were observed according to years of experience. The results suggest the need for further training and training that considers the factors that inhibit practice.
