Abstract
I investigated the present self recognition of young men and women, their personality, and their tendencies of the time judgment of future events. Future events are composed of 24 items. Each future items was classified from next three points of view: 1. expective or unexpective 2. individual or social 3. close future or far future. And I made up twelve categories by compiling above six attributes. Thus I studied what the differences I can find out, among the categories, between the junior high school pupils and college students, male and female, among the subject's personalities and among their present self recognition, in the result of time judgment. Results
1. Junior high school pupils were viewing future events more subjectively than college students.
2. The subjects who had the self recognition that they were thinking about more close future events and individual matters, have the more narrow span of terms on their time judgement of future events.
3. Expective categories are judged more close future than unexpective ones.
4 The group of junior high school pupils and females have the more narrow span of the term than that of college students and males on the time judgement. These differences come out more. clearly between college male students and female students than junior high school boys and girls.
