Abstract

In order to systematically improve undergraduate students knowledge and skills of the use of ICT, we discuss the effect that using ICT in teaching practice at least once has on teacher trainee ICT knowledge and skills. Nearly all the teacher trainees that participated in ICT lessons developed expanded teaching materials and used advanced presentation devices and computers. It was shown how ICT can be used to present teaching materials to raise children interest, to schedule children presentations and conversations, and to prepare audiovisual instructional materials. Teacher trainees were able to acquire knowledge and skills of ICT use. The results indicate that using ICT in teaching practice will improve teacher trainee knowledge and skills of ICT use overall.
