The writers obtained an adult example of Tetragonurus cuvieri in Miyako Bay on December, 6 1963. We suppos that it came into the Bay from the open sea because of tidal wave on October 13, 1963. An adult example of Tetragonurus atlanticus had been preserved for a long time at Miyako Fisheries High School. We suppose that it was taken near Miyako Bay, but we don'not know the catching date.
