Abstract
264 Intertribial percid hybrid tests were made among the Percini, Luciopercini and Etheostomatini.Only those between the Luciopercini and Etheostomatini (both reciprocals) fed, indicating a close phylogenetic relationship.A series of morphologic characters also support separating the Percini from the other two tribes of North American Percidae.
