抄録

We propose a halftoning method which preserves the edge by using an iterative gradient morphological filter from gray scale images. To evaluate performance of the proposed method for generating halftoning images, we conduct comparative experiments of halftoning images which are generated by using an inverse median filter, and subjective evaluation by visual assessment and questionnaire survey.
