To know about recent trends in cancer nursing research, the author have collected the bibliographic data from Igaku-chuo-zassi web system, a medical literature database, using the search term "Gan Kango (Cancer Nursing)" selected from the Igaku-chuo-zassi thesaurus. Papers published from 2005 to 2007 were surveyed. The most common theme was "How to know the patient's psychological state". Author have presented this findings in the 26th Meeting on Medical Information Services, Tokyo-Shirokane, 2009. This paper is a further investigations of the papers on nursing research which focused on "psychological aspect of cancer nursing".
