We recently encountered a 12-year-old boy patient with a toothbrush stuck into the cheek. While brushing his teeth he was attacked by his younger brother and when kicked, fell down with his toothbrush still in his mouth, which was thrust into the right cheek inside. As the brush portion of the toothbrush was completely buried in the submucosal tissue of the cheek, considerable force was required to pull out the buried toothbrush. The wound site was opened and treated accordingly. The wound healed uneventfully. This case is reported, because it appeared to be a rare trauma of the soft tissue.
