A case of an elongated uvula is reported. The patient was a 78-year-old female. She complained of on abnormal sensation of the pharyngolaryngeal region elicited by touching the uvula with the tongue. No other abnormality was observed in the pharyngolaryngeal region. This uvula was like a string and measured 40 mm. Her complaint disappeared after resection of the uvula.
