抄録

The nationwide automated airborne pollen monitoring has been performed using a device called KH-3000-01, in which a pollen grain is discriminated from other particles using the scattered light intensity. Although the Japanese pollen observation network had a high spatio-temporal monitoring site distribution density, being not able to observe multiple types of pollen at the same time was a significant disadvantage. However, recent studies have showed that classifying airborne concentrations of the multiple pollen taxa can be realisable only using the light scattering data. These results indicate that nationwide automated multi taxa pollen monitoring network can be established based on the existing pollen monitoring network.
