Abstract
In order to manage an athletic club effectively, it iseemss most important to grasp the exact state of the club. Hence, certain method or means by which we while enabled to evaluate the morale are keenly needed. Our present study represents an attempt to conduct a survey to evaluate the morale of athletic club through Likert technique. Subjects were 378 university and high-school athletic club members in Kinki area. questionnaire survey with a scale were administered to them in June and July, 1966.The final was constructed by processing the results of the survey through Likert technique. Main findings are as follows: 1. Item analysis revealed that none of the 20 items included in the morale survey was inadequate. 2. Internal-consistency reliability proved to be γxx=.88, thus showing the high reliability of the survey.
