Abstract

Difference of response in psychogalvanic phenomenon in response to tennis play imagined between skilled players and beginners in soft tennis was studied. And the same studies were made when the subjects were watching a movie of ground stroke of soft tennis by skilled players and beginners in soft tennis, and the skilled players in lawn tennis. The results of these experiment were summarized as followed: The skilled players responded with characteristic rhythmical wave of psychogalvanic phenomenon when they imagined their own performances of ground stroke, and also they watched a movie of the performance of ground stroke. However the beginners did not show any remarkable characteristics in psychogalvanic phenomenon in response to tennis play imagined and viewed in motion picture.
