Protocol-based pharmacotherapy management using evidence-based medicine (EBM) requires following the clinical practice guidelines and systematic reviews (SR). In this study, a test was conducted before and after an instructional workshop aimed at the evaluation and utilization of SR papers to confirm the participants’ knowledge acquisition. The average score on the knowledge acquisition test after taking the workshop significantly improved compared to before the workshop (Total score: 9, Pre: 2.29, Post: 5.16, p < 0.001). A questionnaire oriented toward the practical application of systematic reviews was also given to the participants. In conclusion, the workshop helped students improve their knowledge of systematic reviews and raised awareness of the feasibility of EBM.
