Abstract

Pharmacists are responsible for identifying the medical problems associated with a patient’s pharmacotherapy and providing the best care. Therefore, the purpose of drug informatics education is to devise a pharmacotherapy plan by integrating the knowledge gained in each pharmacy field of the lower grades. A curriculum was designed to improve problem identification and problem-solving skills, specifically in the ability to evaluate patient information, select necessary sources, collect related data, assess it accurately, mobilize knowledge from various disciplines, and apply it to each patient. EBM education is the foundation for developing these points in problem-solving ability. This symposium will introduce effective integration of EBM education with a focus on the practice of drug informatics, drug management, and a basic research reading seminar.
