Abstract

I graduated from Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University in March 2023 and currently work as a pharmacist in Higashisumiyoshi Morimoto Hospital. My alma mater has introduced a class called “Integrated and interdisciplinary exercises in pharmaceutical sciences” into the curriculum for sixth-year students starting in 2023, and I had the opportunity to participate in a trial class that was held prior to its launch. The purpose of this exercise is to organize the fragmented knowledge of each subject learned during the six years of university and to discover connections across subjects. Based on my experience of participating in the seminar, I would like to discuss what I feel is necessary to further develop pharmaceutical education from the perspective of a graduate.
