Abstract

In the practical training in pharmacies in Kita-ku, Osaka City, all supervising pharmacists have repeatedly discussed how to effectively use the training period to foster pharmacy pharmacists who will become future members of the community comprehensive care system. Since each pharmacy has its own practice content, practice students also tend to be biased in their practice content. In order to resolve these issues, we are requesting not only the supervising pharmacist of the receiving pharmacy, but also other pharmacies that are not supervising pharmacists. This includes OTC sales, school pharmacists, and home healthcare. In addition, when participating in company study sessions, we also meet with MRs and pharmacists who work for drug wholesalers in the community, tour drug distribution centers, and make other efforts to unite the community and make the training meaningful. In the future, we would like to continue discussions with pharmacist advisors to have them understand the various roles of community pharmacies.
