The effect of moxibustion on warts has been known since ancient times and some modern medicalbooks contain descriptions of such treatment. The cure mechanism of moxibustion on warts is still unknown. But it is assumed that, in moxibustion treatment, the burned products of moxa which penetrate the warts are the acting agents.
Now I report two clinical cases. One case showed that moxibustion treatment and the application of burned moxa products on warts together were effective against the warts. The other showed that moxibustion treatment alone was able to cure the wart with black mole.
