Approximate Estimation of Evaporation Using the Equilibrium Evaporation

Abstract

A New concept of the heat balance equation at the ground is introduced. Physical explanation on the equilibrium evaporation and its application to the estimation of evaporation from various humid grounds are made. The result shows that the ratios of real evaporation to equilibrium evaporation are ranging from 0.5 to 1.5.
