In this paper, I tried to look down on the start question of this special feature articles, the history of the collaboration between Universities and Financial Institutions in Japan and the implications from all articles of this special feature. This paper explained, from the research by the study group of JSIP and the collaboration history in Japan, that the bipolarization of the activity of Universities and Financial Institutions collaboration was suspected to progress. And this paper said that the cause of the bipolarization might be the difference among Financial Institutions and Universities in the perception about the change of the environment of industrial finance.
