Efforts to solve social issues through KYU-OKI Caravan 3

―Mutual exchange between wide-area and individual activities between universities in the field of industry-academia collaboration KYU-OKI Caravan and Kagoshima Tech Meeting―

Abstract

The Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Products (AFFP) Export Promotion R&D Platform @ Kyushu-Okinawa (PF Kyu-Oki) is one of the platforms in the Field for Knowledge Integration and Innovation (FKII) organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. This unique feature introduces the wide-area collaboration by the Coordination Unit (CD Unit), which comprises the university's research support personnel in PF Kyu-Oki. As a member of the CD Unit, the URA of Kagoshima University will outline the significance and affinity of the expansion of industry-academia collaboration activities in the export of agricultural, forestry, and marine products and foods as a method of acquiring management resources for industry-academia collaboration organizations. They will also highlight the 'Kagoshima Tech Meeting' project as a successful example of expansion efforts, discussing its benefits and the lessons learned for future expansion.
