This report is Comparative study on common operative part with homonyms and polysemous words. Operative parts with more than two functions are a match for homonyms and polysemous words, and they are equal about users consciousness. Relations of meanings about homonyms are motivations including analogy and contiguousness, and about polysemous words are arbitrariness. Under the consideration of words, a personal fax is examined as a case study, pointed out some problem by protocol analysis, and suggested some ideas.
(1) The common operative parts of arbitrariness are necessary to be recognized another parts of function at the notices.
(2) The appearance and disappearance of space on the context of input letters are to be treated as the analogy of voice volume control, and designed systematically.
