色あせに伴う橋梁の美度の変化

This paper deals with beauty of bridges according with the change of colour of the bridges due to fading. Generally, steel bridges are coated with to avoid corrosion. The colour of painting is often decided with considering the beauty of the bridge and its environ. However, the painting shall be faded in the long term, and therefore the impression of the bridge may be changed. When the fading ofcolour becomes conspicuous, the bridge shall be re-painted again and will retum to having new colour. In this paper, the aesthetic measure of bridges is discussed by using the colour harmony theorem proposed by moon and Spencer. Photographs of 15 bridges with faded paint are provided, and the colour of the bridges are modified with the new colour by using the graphic software of the PC, then comparison is made on the photos with faded and new colour.
