We developed Virtual Gardening System, moved on Windows PC, to examine preference for flowering plant easily. We can freely place 57 kinds of flowering plants on a virtual flowerbed on the screen of PC. The color printed matter of one hundred virtual flowerbeds, made by Japanese and European students using this system, was evaluated by SD methods in making 23 Japanese students to be an examinee. SD method evaluation was 13 kinds of items resolved into color, form and the whole. Individual difference of preference for 100 virtual flowerbeds was examined by canonical correlation analysis. It was shown that some students like colorful and brave flowerbeds and that some students don't like such flowerbeds and like flowerbeds with faintly settled feeling, on the other hands.
