Abstract
This paper discusses recognition of music characteristic with rough sets. We have already developed the system that understandst he characteristic of the music with Color-image-chart. However, our system couldn ot extract the negativei mage of music.W e proposet he characteristic recognitions ystem of the music that is able to extract all the images with rough sets. We do the questionnaires urvey to music major students. From the result of questionnaires urvey, it is shownt hat the proposedm ethod by the roughs et provids an useful aspectf or the characteristicr ecognition of music.
