Abstract
When a person reads some well-known poem aloud himself, he often finds that the poem gives him a kind of great impression. If the impression is what is associated with beautifulness, the poem gives him happiness.
Our purpose is to inquire into factors related to poetic beautifulness. For that purpose, equations acquired from multiple regression analysis and rules acquired from graded rough set analysis are investigated.
As a result, through successive use of these two analyses, several important factors for poetic beautifulness are revealed, and moreover their combination effects are definitely shown.
