CONSTRUCTION OF SELECTION SUPPORT SYSTEM OF LEATHER SHOES FOR EVENTS BY ROUGH SETS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design the selection-supporting system by which everyone can easily select leather shoes suitable for events. To achieve this purpose, this research is made to find how leather shoes in the fashion match an event. Each combination of suitable leather shoes with each event is indicated as a combination of some attribute values. And then the investigation is made to find which combination is acceptable for the subjects, while using the supplemental rule. The results of the i nvestigation show that the system proposed in this paper functions to find the appropriate leather shoes corresponding to the characteristics of an event. In addition, the system based on the method of the rough sets is useful as a selection-support system.
