Abstract
Radiation therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation are the main treatment for hematologic malignancies along with drug therapy. With the development of new drugs, treatment results have improved, and long-term survival cases have increased. However, in some cases, QOL decreases due to the complications caused by treatment. In the maxillofacial region, esthetic and functional disturbances, such as mastication and articulation problems, may occur. We report three cases in which QOL was improved by dental interventions, including surgical intervention and prosthesis treatment. The interventions improved esthetic concerns and dysfunctions of the stomatognathic region, that occurred after treatment of hematopoietic malignancies.
