Abstract
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is a typical disease of prion disease characterized by neurological dysfunction such as spongy degeneration of the brain, severe dementia, myoclonus of muscle spasm, and speech disorder. For dental treatment of prion disease patients, meticulous attention should be paid to infection prevention measures in open blood treatment including scaling. We report two cases of tooth extraction in Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease patients needed infection control and oral management.
