ON THE BIOEQUIVALENCE PROBLEM AND A TESTING HYPOTHESIS PROBLEM FOR THE BIVARIATE NORMAL DISTRIBUTION

The unbiased test of Brown, Hwang and Munk for the bioequivalence problem is considered. When the level is small, the feasibility of the approximation method is shown. The unbiased test is shown to be admissible in a certain class of tests. This method is applied to a testing hypothesis problem for the bivariate normal distribution and the admissibility is shown in some class of tests.
