Abstract
Two new species of scorpion flies, Panorpa okinawaensis sp. nov. and P. tokunoshimaensis sp. nov. are described from the Ryukyu Islands, Japan. The former from Okinawa-jima, and the latter from Tokuno-shima. For comparison, P. amamiensis MIYAMOTO et MAKlIHARA, 1984, the only known species of the genus from the islands, is redescribed. These three species are closely related to each other, and supposed to be endemic to the respective islands which they were named after.
