A new species of the genus Lispinus ERICHSON, 1839 of the subfamily Osoriinae is described from Ishigaki Is., Nansei Isis., Japan under the name of L. takahashii, together with a key to Japanese species of the genus and illustration of such taxonomically important characters as 8th tergite, 8th sternite, 10th tergite and spermatheca.
