Three new species of Polypedilum KIEFFER, 1912, from the Yaeyama Islands, the Ryukyus, Japan, are described and figured based on male adults. Two of the new species, Polypedilum nubilum sp. nov., and P. maculipennatum sp. nov., are assigned to the subgenus Polypedilum. One species, Polypedilum notabile sp. nov., is not assigned to any subgenus due to the unique structure of the superior volsella, and it may be justified to erect a new subgenus for it in future study.
