Records of Scarabaeoid Beetles from Ludao Is., Taiwan (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea)

Abstract

A list of eighteen scarabaeoid species collected from Ludao Is., Taiwan, is provided. One of which, Holotrichia sp., is undetermined at this time. The following six species are recorded for the first time from the island: 1) Parascatonomus acuticollis, 2) Rhyparus loebli, 3) Rhyparus helophoroides, 4) Anomala siniopyga, 5) Papuana philippinica, and 6) Dipelicus deiphobus loi.
