Abstract
Recently we have attempted to transfuse P. V. P. solution for 50 emergency cases due to industrial accidents.
Except for the head injury cases we have used 3.5% solution of P. V. P.. The results are as follows;
1. Prior to blood transfusion it should be applied for recovery and maintenance of blood pressure.
2. Reduction of the increased intracranial pressure have been found without remarkable rebound phenomenon in head injuries, in which low molecular solution (6%) was used.
3. The transfusion should be performed cautiously in cases of chest injuries.
4. In copious traumatic hemorrhage, it was not effective clinically.
5. By clinical observations it is concluded that the transfusion had not caused any remarkable changes of the hepatic or renal function, bleeding time and clotting time.
