Abstract

University museum has a role of publicity of the university. In Museum of Science of Tokyo University of Science which is located in Kagurazaka campus, the regular exhibition on "The History of Calculation", which is based on collections of an emeritus professor and on donations of technology heritages by companies, is probably the best exhibition of this kind in Japan from the point of its comprehensiveness. In addition to the regular exhibitions, special exhibitions are planned and performed every year on timely themes. As a science communicator, our trials to utilize the university heritages as promoting people's scientific knowledge will be described by selecting various examples.
