The web site, "Japanese Songs: 56 famous children songs", was established in July 2003, as a resource for online Japanese language and cultural studies. This web site is equipped with lyrics, MIDI melodies, MP3 songs, vocal scores, vocabulary lists, and pictures of each song's image. Completed analysis includes both vocabulary and grammar used in the lyrics of 56 songs, which were classified into eight levels. Users can select a song based on the level of vocabulary difficulty or grammar as it appears in the lyrics. This paper presents the concept of producing this web site.
