Abstract
Beginners need to learn many different sentence structures every day, so they cannot spend much time on individual sentence patterns. Therefore, we have carried out daily five-minute drills for difficult items. These drills consist of making sentences using a pattern for a week, gradually increasing the difficulty of the sentence. As a result, learners who couldn't make correct sentences on the first day managed good sentences by the fifth day. Learners also gave positive feedback on these exercises.
