Abstract
This study is a practical report about project work for Japanese language learners who are studying Japanese law in Uzbekistan. The purpose of this study is to find out what positive learning effects the project work has on student learning. The findings based on a questionnaire to the learners suggest that the project work encouraged learners to participate in the class and their self-study, created a learning setting to learn from each other through collaboration with others, helped them improve their Japanese language skills in a specialized field and the technique of research activities.
