The purpose of this study is to analyze how a learner, through monitoring and evaluating other learners' presentations in class, can improve their own oral presentation skills. In the study, the learners were required to set goals. After the presentations were given, the learners evaluated each other and then they repeated the process of setting goals, giving presentations and evaluating each other again. The results indicate when a learner evaluated another this affected how the evaluator set their goals and how they evaluated others. Thus, evaluating the presentations of others is effective in terms of self-monitoring criteria.
