The subsidiary verb "~teshimau" has meanings that relate to aspect and subject. As far as we have observed, research comparing the habits of second language learners of Japanese and native Japanese speakers has only been conducted based on utterance data. In this study, we analyze the composition data of I-JAS and clarify how Chinese learners of Japanese and native Japanese speakers tend to use "~teshimau" in written language.
