As the advancement of social network services (SNS), such as Facebook or Twitter, becomes part of our daily lives, education is no exception to this trend. Flipgrid is one of the SNS platforms specifically developed for educational purposes. It allows users to exchange comments not only in text but also in videos. In this article, we attempted to integrate Flipgrid’s unique feature to provide learners an opportunity to interact via video comments regarding their digital storytelling project. Although the researchers’ perspective might be too subjective, we think utilizing Flipgrid provides students with interaction beyond the simple text-based exchange. We aim to solicit students’ insights on the use of Flipgrid to learn another language.
