Abstract
It is widely understood that groundwater is directly or involved with landslide activities . Therefore, groundwater drainage works have often been conducted to the present day as an instrumental method.
However, It is prevalent that the effects are determined according to potential change of groundwater table, which two dimen sional sections mainly emphasize. In this case, for a natural slope is concerned whether the effect of the drainage works are evalu ated too much or too little.
Therefore, the authors carried out a three dimensions simulation analysis concerning the groundwater-flow . The analysis is us ing the actual time series data in order to evaluate the effects of groundwater drainage works more quantitatively with the fol lowing method.
We created a model of transfer of groundwater based on conditions of geographical features and geological structure in the ob servation area, groundwater levels of the area and the amount of water displacement surveyed throughout the year, repeatedly calculated by using variables of groundwater level of each element . Finally concluded with laminating three dimensions model, which allowed about 0.5m difference of groundwater level calculated value.
In addition, as well as showing the actual groundwater table by using the model, they simulated the groundwater table before and after works to show the effect of the drainage and evaluated economic factor . The authors determined that analysis using this three dimensions model simulation will allow for the profitable enactment of economical groundwater drainage works with fixed results.
