Abstract
The purpose of our workshop presents a framework of sustainability diagnosis that replace the conventional methods like as societal diagnosis or environmental one which are not useful concept and tool for emerging new global problems.
We think the concept of the triple bottom line (TBL) captures the essence of business sustainability, by analyzing and evaluating the impact of business activities on the broader economy, the environment, and on the society in which they operate.
We suggested the stakeholder approach as a basic and useful tool for grasping the integrated TBL. And we have done researches the relationship between important stakeholders and sustainability, and showed the conditions of small businesses' sustainability through some case studies.
